Full job description

We are looking for an exceptional, experienced Complex Live-in Carer to join a dedicated care team supporting an individual living with a spinal cord injury.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a compassionate, professional carer who is committed to delivering outstanding, person-centred care while promoting independence, dignity, and an excellent quality of life.

Essential Experience

Applicants must have:

● Proven experience supporting clients with spinal cord injuries.

● A strong understanding of person-centred care.

● Experience with manual handling.

● Sound knowledge of Autonomic Dysreflexia (AD) and appropriate emergency response.

● Experience with bowel management.

● Experience providing suprapubic catheter care.

● A thorough understanding of strict infection prevention and control procedures, including maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and reducing the risk of cross-contamination.

● A full UK driving licence and confidence driving.

● Excellent spoken and written English.

● Be a non-smoker.
