Full job description

We are seeking cheerful, enthusiastic, reliable and experienced grooms to join our busy riding school and livery yard. We are BHS, ABRS approved and a Pony Club linked centre. CRS has a 5-star Riding School licence and we have very high standards of horse care in a lovely location with superb facilities.

This is a varied role and applicants should have previous experience of working on a busy yard and responsibilities include but are not limited to: mucking out, turning out, bringing in, haying, feeding, holding for vet, washing off, tacking up, untacking etc. All normal yard duties on a well-established friendly yard.

Applicants must have good communication skills, be confident and competent around all types of horses with high standards of care and enjoy working in a team. BHS qualifications are valued but training is also available for the right individuals.

This is a part time, permanent position which includes a weekend day. Your rate of pay will depend on qualifications and experience. We offer great working conditions, 28 days holidays and a pension scheme. A DBS check will be required before starting the role,
