Job Overview

We are seeking an experianced dedicated and professional Receptionist/Dispensing Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, managing patient appointments, and assisting with dispensing procedures within a clinical environment. The ideal candidate will possess optical experience and a solid understanding of lenses and frames, ensuring efficient support for our staff and patients. Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming environment.
  • Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, confirming, and rescheduling as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and medication dispensation in accordance with data protection regulations.
  • Support laboratory tasks as required, including sample handling and processing.
  • Provide general administrative support such as answering queries, managing correspondence, and organising paperwork.
  • Ensure the reception area remains tidy, organised, and welcoming at all times.
  • Uphold strict confidentiality regarding patient information and medical records.Skills
  • Previous laboratory experience is highly desirable to support clinical procedures effectively.
