About the Role:
As a Multi Trade Operative, you'll be integral to a team responsible for crucial repairs and maintenance across the university campus. You will work closely with the Principal Building Fabric Manager to perform both reactive and planned maintenance tasks. While your primary focus will be Joinery repairs, you will also undertake, locksmith duties, and other building fabric repairs including minor plumbing work.
Your role will support the university's core activities of teaching, learning, research, and commercial operations, ensuring minimal disruption to students, staff, and visitors, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
Additionally, you will play a key part in the Estates Operations out-of-hours service, responding to emergency callouts, which may include additional salary compensation.
We are currently enhancing our customer service through the Customer Service Excellence (CSE) program. We seek candidates who are committed to continuously improving our business processes and fostering a strong team-oriented culture.
