Job brief
The Carpenter / Multi Trader Operator will be responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of our Children's Residential Homes.
As the Carpenter/Multi Trade Operator, you will be responsible for:
· Carpentry Repairs - hanging doors, locksmith work, skirting, architraves etc.
· Basic Plumbing - fitting taps, sinks, toilets etc.
· Plastering and Tiling – both new and patch
· Painting and Decorating
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in a carpentry or handyman type role in a large or multi-site setting
- Good knowledge of building systems, including plumbing, electrical and heating.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of issues.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with staff, contractors, and residents.
- Basic computer skills for maintaining records and managing maintenance schedules.
- A valid UK driving license and the ability to travel throughout the UK

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to £35,000.00 per year
