Locum Specialty Registrar (SPR)

Location: NHS Trust, UK
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Locum / Temporary
Pay Rate: Competitive (Dependent on Specialty & Experience)

Job Overview

We are currently seeking experienced and dedicated Locum Specialty Registrars (SpR/ST3+) to join our NHS Trust on an ASAP basis. This is an excellent opportunity for doctors looking for flexible locum work within a supportive NHS environment.

Successful candidates will be required to provide high-quality patient care, support multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to the delivery of safe and effective clinical services.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Hold full GMC registration with a licence to practise.
  • Have previous NHS experience at Registrar level or equivalent.
  • Have a valid Right to Work in the UK.
  • Be able to provide professional references covering recent clinical experience.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Hold valid mandatory training certificates (or be willing to update prior to commencement).

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and manage patients within your specialty.
  • Participate in ward rounds, clinics, and on-call services as required.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with consultants, junior doctors, nursing staff, and allied health professionals.
  • Adhere to NHS policies, clinical governance standards, and patient safety protocols.
  • Contribute to delivering high-quality patient-centred care.
