Locum GP £90.00 – £110.00 per hour | Oxford | Core Hours & Out of Hours | Remote & On-Site

Secure Healthcare Solutions are currently recruiting experienced General Practitioners (GPs) for flexible locum opportunities across the Oxford area.

We have a variety of Core Hours and Out of Hours (OOH) sessions available, with opportunities to work on-site or remotely, providing telephone triage and/or face-to-face consultations.

Whether you are looking for occasional additional sessions alongside your existing commitments or regular ongoing locum work, we can offer flexibility around your availability.

The Role

As a Locum GP, you will provide high-quality clinical care to patients across primary and urgent care services.

Depending on the service, shift and your preference, your work may include:

• Telephone triage and remote consultations
• Face-to-face patient appointments
• Assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patients
• Prescribing and medication management
• Providing appropriate clinical advice and onward referrals
• Maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient records
• Working alongside other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective patient care

Hours & Working Options

A variety of sessions are available, including:

• Core weekday hours
• Evenings
• Nights
• Weekends
• Out of Hours (OOH)
• Remote telephone triage
• On-site consultations
• Face-to-face clinics

We welcome GPs looking for anything from occasional additional sessions through to regular ongoing locum work.

Pay

£90.00 – £110.00 per hour, depending on the shift, service and working hours.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
• Be on the GP Register
• Relevant UK General Practice experience
• Up-to-date mandatory training (free topup training can be provided if needed)
• Enhanced DBS (One can be processed for you if needed)
• Appropriate professional indemnity cover
• Excellent clinical assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work confidently and independently

Previous experience within Out of Hours services, Urgent Treatment Centres, NHS 111/CAS, telephone triage or other urgent care settings would be advantageous but is not essential for all available sessions.
