Job Summary
Mareel Aesthetics are an aesthetics and testosterone replacement therapy clinic based in Poole, Dorset and we are looking for a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner to join our health and wellbeing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to our growing list of gentlemen who are clinically assessed as requiring TRT. This is likely to require 2-4 hours per week on a flexible self scheduled arrangement with consultations booked with clients via teams. Ideal as a secondary income to top up an existing job role. The hours are likely to increase flexibly as the clinic customer base grows.

This role offers an opportunity to utilise your clinical expertise, completed specialist training in the area of TRT, and contribute to patient well-being through evidence-based practices. The ideal applicant will possess strong clinical research skills and experience in endocrinology/men's health. This position can be either self employed or fully paid and requires a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care with professionalism and empathy.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient consultations, using our online virtual appointment platform. Can be worked from home.
  • Diagnose and manage a treatment pathway for TRT where indicated.
  • Prescribe medications using our online platform and associated pharmacies in accordance with current clinical guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Engage in continuous professional development, including clinical research activities when applicable.
  • Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and management strategies.
  • Stay informed about advances in anatomy knowledge, medication administration techniques, and public health policies.

Qualifications

  • Medical degree recognised by the General Medical Council (GMC).
  • Full registration with the GMC and a valid licence to practise medicine in the UK.
  • Proven experience in clinical research is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy and medication administration protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.
