Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Locum Registrar (ST3+) to join an NHS Trust on an immediate start basis. This role is ideal for doctors seeking flexible locum work across a range of hospital specialties. You will provide high‑quality clinical care, support junior staff, and ensure safe patient management across designated wards and departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide senior clinical support across designated wards and departments.
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage patients under consultant supervision.
  • Lead ward rounds and support junior doctors (FY1–SHO level).
  • Ensure accurate documentation and safe handovers.
  • Participate in on‑call rota where required.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality patient care.

Requirements

  • ST3+ level or equivalent experience.
  • Valid Right to Work in the UK (no exceptions).
  • Full GMC registration with licence to practise.
  • Relevant NHS experience at Registrar level.
  • Able to start immediately or within a short notice period.
  • Strong communication and clinical decision‑making skills.

Contract Details

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Location: NHS Trust (Specify region)
  • Hours: Full‑time or part‑time locum shifts
  • Rota: Days, nights, weekends depending on specialty
  • Pay: Competitive hourly rates (Trust‑dependent)
