About Us: UNiTY Development Group Ltd is an award winning, fast-paced, innovative construction and renovation company based in Sheffield. We are Consumer Protection Association Licensed and Considerate Constructor Scheme accredited. Our projects range from new home builds and extensions to loft conversions and the full scale of refurbishments.
Role: We are seeking an experienced, multi-skilled joiner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both 1st and 2nd fix joinery, particularly in high-end residential projects and work to efficiency in speed and precision in their quality, this is not a role that will be suited to an intermediate level joiner.
You will work across various projects, in a mix of property types, along with some heritage work for specialised applicants.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in joinery, with references and examples of previous work.
- Proficiency in 1st and 2nd fix joinery.
- Additional skills in other trades are a plus.
- Finishing skills area a huge plus (strong attention to detail and sheer quality in finishing).
- Company-based site management experience is also a plus.

Responsibilities
- Utilise hand and power tools to perform joinery, carpentry and other skilled tasks efficiently and to a high degree of quality.
- Fabricate and assemble structures according to specifications or instruction.
- Manage project timelines and ensure quality control throughout the construction process.
- Work under instruction of Projects' Director and Site Manager.
- Collaborate with team members on other activities at site, assisting where required.
- Adhere to safety protocols while handling heavy materials and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote productivity.
