About us

Winch Construction Ltd is a family ran construction company based in North Tyneside but operating all over the North East. We build Extensions, New builds, Loft conversions, Renovations and commercial maintenance.

We are looking for a hard working and reliable general builder/joiner to join our team. No qualifications necessary however previous experience in the construction industry is essential. Own transport is essential as we sometimes work in areas where public transport doesn't reach. Own tools would be a benefit although not essential to start. We are a family run business who pride ourselves on our reputation and this must be upheld by our employees. Well mannered and well presented is a must.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £10.60-£15.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • North Tyneside: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • Building: 1 year (required)
  • Carpentry: 1 year (preferred)

  • CSCS (preferred)
  • Driving Licence (required)
