Job description

Within the practice and on behalf of our clients we focus our work on five key elements: design & planning consents, building regulations compliance, contract tendering, contract administration and principal designer (CDM & BR).

- Project lead on residential projects; designing loft conversions, extensions, remodels, new builds and more. Taking the project from design consultation, measured survey, through planning approval, building regulations, contract tendering, contract administration and principal designer with a excellent level of client care throughout.

- Project lead on commercial projects in a team or alone to design: offices, building conversions, industrial units, master plans, multi-unit residential schemes and other commercial buildings.

Requirements

-Excellent verbal and written communication with clients and the team via phone, email and internal CRM.

- AutoCAD drawing experience for Planning Applications and Building Regulations drawings

- Measured Survey experience for residential and commercial buildings

- Experience with householder, full planning applications and local authority pre-apps.

- Full clean driving licence to attend measured surveys

- Five years project lead experience

- Minimum Part 2 RIBA or above or equivalent

- Experience working with contractors and making site visits to check progress and coming up with solutions/answers to queries

- Experience with contract tendering and creating schedule of works

This role can be fully remote for the right candidate if required. We have office spaces in Eastbourne and Lewes and the team are spread out across East Sussex mainly. Site visits will be required.

Ideally you live in the Horsham/ Haywards Heath area to cover the northern parts of Sussex and can visit the office in Eastbourne for training etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
