Loft Conversion Specialist for Private Landlord

*** Excellent Role working for established North London private landlord converting lofts for all his properties ***

** You need to be able to do your own roof work for this role – we prefer 3 layer felt systems **

** must have 15+ years’ carpentry experience working on loft conversions & you must of worked on 50+ lofts **

*** own vehicle & own tools required for this role ***

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a long-established property organisation who are leaders within their field and who offer excellent career progression.

We are converting and renovating a number of the properties on their books at the moment, including adding loft conversions, extensions and making internal refurbishments.

We are looking for an Experienced 1st & 2nd Fix Carpenter & Joiner lead & run the conversion of their loft conversions.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Build Timber Roof Loft Structures
  • Add RSJ beams
  • Add roof – 3 layer felt system
  • Build internal Stud Walls
  • Add Internal Floors
  • Add Partitions
  • Staircase Additions

Essential Requirements:

· A minimum of 15 years’ experience is required

· A minimum of 5 references and examples of work

· Personable and polite

· Good time keeping skills and ability to stick to deadlines

· You must be enthusiastic, hardworking and dedicated

· Ability to work quickly under pressure

· Must be willing to work on weekends if required to push the job on

· You must speak clear English with good communication skills

Hours:
Mon - Fri, 8am - 5pm, Saturday optional

We like to hire for the long term - you will need to be reliable and loyal to be considered for this role.

Ideally the role is for immediate start or ASAP.

Pay: £55,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
