About us

Redring is a family-run building and property maintenance company. We’ve been working across London since 1987. We do extensions, loft conversions, refurbishments and fit-outs, and we have our own in-house M&E team. We’re growing our build division and need an experienced Project Manager to run our jobs from quote to handover.

The role

You’ll take on jobs once they’re won and make sure they make the profit we planned. Each job’s programme, budget and margin will be yours. You’ll report directly to the Managing Director and manage our head foreman and the site foremen.

What you’ll do

  • Visit clients a second time after we’ve won the work, and write accurate, fully costed quotes. No guesswork.
  • Build and maintain a programme for every job, tied to the quote.
  • Source and buy materials and subcontractors, comparing quotes to get the best value.
  • Set up contracts properly before work starts.
  • Manage variations so each one is priced, approved and paid before the work is done.
  • Raise interim payment applications and manage closeout.
  • Update clients every week with progress and photos.
  • Report weekly on progress against the programme, and on planned against actual profit.

What we’re looking for

  • At least 4 years’ experience managing residential building projects
  • A hands-on construction background
  • Confidence with quoting, programming and job costing
  • Clear, honest communication with clients and site teams
  • Someone who flags problems early
  • A full driving licence
