We are looking for a skilled labourer with experience within the construction industry to join our team. This position is based on a self employed basis and is a permeant job role, starting with a 4week trail period to see if the candidate has the experience, knowledge and work ethic required to join our team long term.
Tasks for this position will be various tasks throughout our projects, we undertake extension work, loft conversion and other building works. Tasks would involve groundworks- digging etc, demolition works with the use of breaker and other tools, use of cement mixers, site preparation including loading out materials, site clearance at the end of each working day, assisting other trades with their tasks and generally providing assistance to achieve the appointed tasks given throughout the working day.
Candidate's must be hardworking, have good time keeping skills and be polite/respectful within customers homes due to working within residential properties. Ideally Candidates to have a vehicle and to be able to drive to and from site on a typical working day.
CSCS CARD IS NOT REQUIRED.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction or similar skilled labor roles
- Ability to operate various hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations
- Excellent physical stamina and strength for demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of building materials and construction techniques
- Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions accurately
