About us: Square One Group establish in 2020 specialising in Extensions, Renovations, Loft Conversions, Bathrooms, Kitchens, and all Bespoke Carpentry needs. Square One 'Projects', 'Electrics' & 'Decorating' is a unique entity with a mission to enhance the spaces where people live and work. We offer our clients a seamless and comprehensive installation experience, creating a one-stop solution for all our client’s needs.

Key Responsibilities: As an Administrative Assistant at Square One Electrics & Square One Decorating, you will not only play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and driving growth of our business but also work in close collaboration with the administration assistant of Square One Projects. This collaborative approach ensures smooth operations and efficient workflow across both divisions.

Liaise with project managers, electricians, and decorators to ensure efficient scheduling and resource allocation for electrical and decorating projects.

Assist in managing client enquiries, requests, and appointments related to electrical and decorating services.

Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on project progress, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction.

Marketing and Promotion: Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies to generate more work for Square One Electrics & Decorating. Promotional activities, such as advertising campaigns, social media posts, and client outreach initiatives, to increase brand visibility and attract new clients.

Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the team, including managing phone calls, emails, and correspondence related to electrical and decorating projects. Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, including client information, project details, and financial transactions. Prepare reports and documentation as needed to support business operations.

Process Improvement: As an Administrative Assistant, you will have the unique opportunity to identify and implement opportunities to streamline administrative processes and improve workflow efficiency within Square One Electrics & Decorating. This role is about maintaining operations and contributing to our growth and success.

Collaborate with Square One Projects' administration assistant to implement best practices and standardise procedures across both divisions.

Qualifications: Office administration or related fields are pluses, preferably in the construction or home improvement industry. The ability to interact professionally with clients and team members. Strong organisational skills, multitasking, and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software applications. A proactive attitude, a passion for driving business growth and process improvement, and a good sense of humour.

Working hours: We value work-life balance and understand the importance of personal time. The role requires 17.5 hours per week, ideally spread across Monday – Friday, 3.5 hours daily.
