Job Description:

Cedar Valley Construction is looking for an experienced and reliable carpenter to join our growing team, working on a variety of residential and commercial construction projects across West Sussex and Hampshire.

Our work includes extensions, renovations, refurbishments, loft conversions, garden rooms, etc.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, is comfortable working independently, and can also work effectively alongside our existing team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all aspects of first and second fix carpentry to a high standard.
• Work on a variety of residential and commercial projects.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Communicate effectively with site management and other trades.
• Ensure work is completed efficiently and to a high standard of finish.

Requirements

Essential:

• Proven experience in all aspects of first and second fix carpentry.
• Own van, tools and equipment.
• Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
• Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude.
• Ability to work well with other trades and team members.

Desirable:

• Experience working on extensions and full property renovations.
• Ability to assist in other general building tasks where required, such as installation of structural steels.

Pay: £180.00-£220.00 per day
