As Evolve Home Improvements continues to deliver high-quality renovations and extensions across Tyne & Wear, we are excited to offer an incredible opportunity for a reliable and skilled 1st and 2nd fix Joiner to join our team on a full-time, self-employed basis.

The Role:

We’re seeking a capable, versatile individual with a broad skill set across carpentry & joinery. If you have a solid understanding of these trades, we want to hear from you! While formal qualifications are not required, any relevant certifications will be a bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out all aspects of 1st and 2nd fix joinery on domestic projects
• Installation of roof trusses (traditional, hips, and valleys)
• Working on high-spec extensions, refurbishments, and conversions
• Fitting studwork, door linings, skirtings, architraves, stair components, kitchens, and more
• Working alongside a small, friendly team of trades

Skills & Experience:

• Proficiency with a range of power tools and hand tools
• Keen eye for detail and a pride in delivering high-quality, efficient work
• A conscientious approach to every task, as customer satisfaction is our priority
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong commitment to safety and health standards

Requirements:

• Proven experience in domestic joinery work
• Experience in extensions and loft conversions
• Own tools and transport
• Reliable, professional and able to work independently or within a team
• CIS registered and UTR number
• Good attention to detail and pride in your work

Pay: £150.00-£200.00 per day

• Extensions, Loft Conversions and Home Renovations: 4 years (required)
• Joinery: 4 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (required)
