About Us:

Robert Homes Property Group are a leading construction and development company, consisting of R Harrison Building & Construction Ltd. and Hadas Architectural Ltd. As a group, we specialise in residential extensions, loft conversions and renovations, new build property development and architectural drawings and design. We cover all aspects of the build process from planning through to completion. Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Trainee Site Manager. In this role, you will work closely with experienced site managers to learn all aspects of managing construction sites efficiently and effectively. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for construction to kick-start their career in site management.

Key Responsibilities:

Building & Construction

  • Assist senior site managers in overseeing day-to-day operations on construction sites
  • Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers and materials
  • Gain hands-on experience in ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Working to programmes and schedules of work
  • Organising logistics of daily work schedule
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining safety protocols and quality standards
  • Learn to resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction projects
  • Assist in preparing progress reports and other documentation as required Design
  • Conducting site surveys, measuring and designing residential projects (loft conversions, extensions, renovations)
  • Surveying and measuring of new developments
  • Forming specification and design of works
  • Appraising new sites for development
  • Working collaboratively with architects, engineers and solicitors Requirements:
  • Degree or diploma (or currently working towards completion) in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to different construction sites as needed.

Working Hours:

  • 7am – 5pm • 1 hour break (30 minutes at 10am and 1pm)
  • Monday to Friday (day release for university can be arranged) Benefits:
