We're seeking an experienced and safety-conscious individual to oversee all logistical and engineering operations across Tresco Island.
Department: Engineering
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Duties Include
- Ensuring careful management of the annual budget, focussing on repairs, waste management, harbour operations and freight costs
- Ensuring Health and Safety compliance across all areas of responsibility
- Managing an effective inventory of replacement parts and stock so as to support seamless maintenance of plant equipment and machinery
- Promoting and managing positive communications across all respective departments, ensuring flexible working patterns that suit business needs
- Assisting with setting annual budgets and subsequently managing respective areas within targeted parameters
- Working closely with senior management and on-island contractors to ensure plant and equipment required is planned well in advance
- Ensuring all staff are managed in a supportive and proactive environment with appropriate training and coaching
- Ensuring full compliance with any legal requirements for areas of responsibility
Our Ideal Candidate
- Full, clean driving licence (essential)
- HGV licence (advantageous)
- Experienced in team management and department collaboration
- Proven experience of working with commercial and agricultural plant machinery
- Ability to promote a positive working culture in accordance with company brand standards
- Well versed on Health and Safety standards and up to date on the latest regulations
- Ability to remain calm during difficult situations or in a very busy environment
- High levels of organisation
