Salary: Competitive Teacher Pay Scale – dependent on experience


We are looking for an experienced and qualified Science Teacher with a specialism in Physics or Chemistry to join a well-established secondary school in Crayford from September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Science Teacher who is passionate about their subject and committed to delivering engaging and challenging lessons that inspire students to achieve their full potential.

The successful candidate will join an impressive Science department within a recently refurbished school, offering excellent facilities and a supportive teaching environment.

The Successful Science Teacher Will

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have successfully completed their ECT induction period
  • Have experience teaching Science within a UK secondary school
  • Specialise in Physics or Chemistry
  • Be confident planning and delivering engaging Science lessons
  • Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Be committed to raising student achievement and progress
  • Work effectively as part of a collaborative Science department
  • Be available to start full-time from September 2026
