Job Overview
We are currently looking for a hardworking and reliable Warehouse Operative (Forklift, Freezer) to join our warehouse team based in East London (E10 area). This is a full-time role in a fast-paced distribution environment, with an immediate start available.

You will be responsible for picking and handling frozen products while supporting general warehouse operations. Due to the nature of the workload, we prefer candidates who live locally in E10 or nearby areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick and pack frozen goods accurately according to orders
• Work in cold/freezer environment (protective clothing provided)
• Load and unload stock when required.
• Move goods to and from designated storage areas.
• Record stock movements properly using handheld devices or paperwork
• Assist with inventory checks and labelling.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the freezer and warehouse areas.
• Work as part of a team to meet daily targets.

Skills and Experience:

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Comfortable working in a cold/freezer environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills (must have English language)
• Physically fit and able to handle manual lifting when needed
• Basic understanding of warehouse and stock operations
• Previous experience in a warehouse or freezer environment is an advantage

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year warehouse experience
• Able to do picking, packing, and manual lifting as part of the job
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player
• Must be willing to work one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday)
• Candidates must have the right to work in the UK (British Citizenship, Settled Status, or valid visa)

Education & Qualifications:

• Must have completed secondary school or higher education (UK or equivalent)

Work Schedule:

Monday - Saturday: 09.00 AM - 06.00 PM

Salary & Contract:

• Pay: £13.00 per hour
• Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday + weekend Rotation)
• Job Type: Full-time, Fixed term contract (3 months)
• Work Location: In person
