Swissport Hiring Event – Airport Baggage Handler (Bag Hall Agent)

Immediate Start – Edinburgh Airport

Join Swissport, a global leader in aviation services, and play a vital role in keeping Edinburgh Airport moving. We’re recruiting Bag Hall Agents to support baggage processing and ensure smooth, efficient airport operations.

Role Details

  • Location: Edinburgh Airport
  • Salary: £12.91 per hour
  • Contract: Full‑time, fixed term until 31/10/2026
  • Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday–Sunday (shift work)

What You’ll Do

  • Sort & scan baggage using automated systems
  • Route luggage to the correct flights
  • Load bags for transport to aircraft
  • Maintain a safe, clean, organised bag hall environment
  • Follow all safety and security procedures
  • Assist with lost or delayed baggage enquiries

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in baggage handling or logistics is helpful but not essential
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
  • Flexibility for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical fitness to lift and move heavy bags
  • FULL UK Manual driving licence
  • Ability to pass all required background checks
