Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on efficiency and safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate flatbed lorries and other commercial vehicles to deliver goods to clients and customers.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to optimise time and fuel consumption.
• Load and unload items, ensuring they are secured properly during transit.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally during deliveries.
• Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained throughout your shift.

Experience

• Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with commercial driving background.
• Experience with flatbed vehicles is desirable but not essential.
• Familiarity with local roads and navigation systems.
• Previous experience working with delivery schedules and maintaining punctuality is advantageous.
• Valid driving licence suitable for commercial vehicles, with a clean driving record. This role requires a dedicated individual who values safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, contributing positively to our team’s reputation for reliable service.

Pay: £97.68-£217.84 per day
