Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Machine Shop Manager to lead our manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will oversee daily shop floor activities, optimise processes, and ensure the highest standards of quality and safety. Are you an experienced CNC machinist ready to take the next step into a leadership role, without losing your hands-on edge?

This is a standout opportunity to join a locally rooted manufacturer that has been running for over 80 years. You'll take ownership of a skilled small team, play a central role in day-to-day machine shop operations, and directly report to the General manager.

Whether you're already supervising and looking for a more rewarding environment, or a highly skilled machinist ready to make the move into management, this role has been structured to support your development every step of the way.

  • Machine Shop management overseeing a team of machinists
  • Setting, running, and monitoring CNC machines, stepping in hands-on where needed
  • Leading, mentoring, and developing your team to maintain high standards of quality and output
  • Monday to Friday working pattern with an early finish every Friday at 1pm.
  • 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays)

Pay: From £44,000.00 per year
