Join the House of CB team as a Visual Merchandiser Manager (Dual Site) in our Central London locations and become a key player in an evolving global fashion phenomenon.

What you'll do:

We are looking for an inspiring Visual Merchandiser Manager Dual Site to join our expanding team who will be responsible for providing solutions to store specific visual and merchandising challenges using brand standards and corporate visual guidelines to maintain brand integrity. The Visual Merchandiser Manager creates interesting visual presentations based on the individual store needs and inventory levels and drives sales through strategic merchandise placement and compelling displays. The Visual Merchandiser Manager will work across our 2 Central London locations (Oxford Street and Selfridges & CO) and be will be a key-holder.

Customer

· Confidentially place and update product placements in a visually attractive way which represents the brand’s style and image to promote a positive shopping experience.

· Lead by example to confidentially advise and surprise customers by holding excellent trend & product knowledge through accurately describing product features and benefits.

· Plan ahead to ensure the store is in line with seasonal shifts, key occasions and promotional events.

· Assist the Management team with stock replenishment and recognise low inventory which may negatively affect a customer’s experience.

· Ensure all products are standardised correctly to ensure an empowering lasting impression.

· Responsible for consistently ensuring an exceptional level of shop floor presentation ensuring best-sellers are in key sightlines to drive a positive customer experience.

· Manage replenishment, backstock, overstock, sale and faulty products.

· Promote a positive shopping experience by greeting, engaging, and assisting customers at all touch points to ensure an exceptional level of customer service and satisfaction.

· Provide an efficient service at the point of sale to ensure an empowering lasting impression.

· Manage standard till operations such as opening/closing tills and authorise refunds/exchanges.

Sales

· Strive to achieve and exceed daily and weekly sales targets through creating impressive product placement and displays.

· Work commercially to suggest innovative ideas which will increase store performance.

· Withhold good knowledge of sales figures, targets and KPI’s.

·Interpret sales reports to monitor product performance by focusing on best sellers, low sellers and zero sellers sales and report to the Management team.

Team

· Brief the team about a change of product placement and new releases.

· Accountable for training the team on product knowledge and responsible for ensuring this information is being delivered to customers to support sales.

·Delegate and manage daily tasks to the team and work commercially to complete regular money mapping analysis of the store.

·Liaise with management to recognise and develop individual talent and champion recognition. Fairly evaluate employee performance and carry out performance management when needed.

·Hold a proactive approach to HR issues to ensure a fair and consistent practice and create a high performing team. Inform the Store Manager about any staffing issues and provide a plan of how to resolve them.

· Promote a loyal and honest working environment.

·Actively share knowledge and best practices with the team to maintain consistent store operations.

· Use initiative to multi-task and support the needs of the store & customers.

Compliance

· Take ownership of store videos/images and liaise with Senior Management to fulfil any visual related tasks.

· Develop and adhere to HOCB visual guidelines.

· Always adhere to Company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee contract and handbook.

· Actively ensure the store, fixtures, props, mannequins and promotional graphics are placed, well maintained and free from damages.

· Assist with increasing profit and reducing loss within the store.

· Assist in taking responsibility with following and enforcing all Health & Safety guidance to promote a safe working environment.

· Support the Store Manager to deliver the brand’s vison and expectations.

· Positively represent House of CB by acting as a brand ambassador.

· Actively control risks by preventing the theft or damage of goods, company property or resources from the business, where safe to do so.

· Confident at raising any concerns or issues which may impact store performance to the Store Manager.

· Any other duties, as required.

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years visual merchandising experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility in working hours with early morning availability
  • Flexibility in working locations depending on where VM updates are required
  • Holds initiative and works with a sense of urgency
