Property Maintenance Officer

The Role

As a Property Maintenance Officer, you’ll take the lead in delivering high-quality, customer-focused maintenance services—ensuring homes are safe, compliant, and maintained to the highest standards. From diagnosing repairs to overseeing contractors and managing void properties, no two days are the same.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Carrying out property inspections (voids, pre/post works)
  • Diagnosing faults and specifying repair works
  • Managing contractors and monitoring quality & performance
  • Ensuring works are delivered on time, within budget
  • Supporting compliance with housing standards (e.g. EESSH)
  • Delivering excellent customer service and resolving issues quickly

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in property maintenance, repairs, or asset management
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction and housing standards
  • Ability to manage workload, budgets, and contractors effectively
  • Excellent communication and a customer-first mindset
  • Full UK driving licence
