Small Works Estimator

Covering sites in the South West of England including Bristol, Cardiff, and Exeter.

We are based in Bristol, with a loyal and diverse customer base across the South-West and South Wales regions.

To meet the increased demand from our customers we are looking for very special people to come and join us, we are currently looking for a Small Works Estimator (Works up to £75k).

These are exciting times within Dowry, and we are looking for people who want to become key assets within the business.

About You

We are looking for a team player who is a fantastic communicator, embraces high levels of customer service and is not afraid of working hard.

Your day-to-day tasks will be diverse and provide a great level of variety.

Our ideal candidate is:

A good team player, positive attitude, and competent working alone.

Able to produce a high-quality finish to all works carried out.

Able to take initiative and demonstrate a strong work ethic.

Presentable, as you will be representing the company to our clients.

Able to provide references.

Necessary Skills:

A willingness to travel to customer sites.

Experience of building maintenance and PPM regimes.

Self-motivated.

Excellent time management and planning.

Analytical and solution focused.

Strong written and verbal communication.

Building and developing relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues.

Working with suppliers to obtain prices for materials for inclusion within quotations.

Developing and preparing quotes for submission.

Confident with using technology including customer portals.

Strong health & safety awareness and commitment.

Excellent time keeping.

Qualifications:

Proven track record in estimating (minimum 3 years’ experience).

Experience of surveying preferred (minimum 2 years’).

Numeracy and literacy to GCSE level.

You will need to hold a full Driving Licence .
