  • Ensure plant is kept in good physical order, including greasing, cleaning, and general upkeep

  • Complete daily inspection sheets and maintenance documentation accurately

  • Identify, report, and escalate defects or issues to the line manager, supervisor, or chargehand

  • Operate plant and machinery safely and in an energy‑efficient manner

  • Complete near‑miss and safety reports as required by site management

  • Support safe start‑up and shutdown of plant equipment

  • Demonstrate good timekeeping and reliability

Qualifications & Experience (Essential)

  • Computer literate

  • Good general education with a strong understanding of health & safety and quarry regulations

  • EPIC certification to operate mobile plant

  • NVQ Level 2 in Mobile Plant Operations (following EPIC completion)

  • Safety awareness of industrial gases

  • Practical experience in burning and welding operations

Why Join Us?

  • Work within a well‑established, safety‑driven organisation

  • Varied, hands‑on role with exposure to modern plant and equipment

  • Ongoing training and development opportunities
