Overview
Sugar Cane Salon is looking for a highly skilled Self - Employed Lash Artist to join our dynamic team on a residency basis, working Fridays and Saturdays. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lash Artist to showcase their expertise to a high volume of clients built over 7 years in a welcoming, client-focused environment in the busy but quaint district of Clapham Old Town. This is also an opportunity for a Lash Artist to grow their clientele and establish their brand.

The successful candidate will demonstrate creativity, precision, and a strong commitment to excellence, delivering exceptional Lash Extension services tailored to each client. We are looking for a dedicated professional who is confident in their craft, committed to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and client care, and motivated to continually refine and elevate their skills while contributing positively to the salon’s vibrant atmosphere.

Qualifications Required

  • Lash Extensions (Atleast 2 years)
  • Lash Lifts (preferred but not essential, free training can be offered)
  • Brow Services (preferred but not essential, free training can be offered)

Duties

  • Perform highly skilled and customised Lash extensionstreatments tailored to each client’s preferences and facial features.
  • Provide professional advice on lash maintenance, aftercare, and colour options.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic workspace in accordance with salon standards.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are sterilised and properly stored after each appointment.
  • Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service, ensuring repeat business and positive reviews.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and products in lash and brow artistry.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and managing client records efficiently.
  • Create and post regular high quality social media content

Experience

  • Previous experience in applying Lash Extensions and brow shaping (at least 2 years of experience)
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
  • Excellent communication skills in English to ensure clear consultation and aftercare instructions.
  • A passion for beauty artistry with an eye for detail and precision.
  • Friendly, professional demeanour with a commitment to delivering high-quality results. This position is ideal for individuals eager to develop their expertise within a supportive salon environment while offering flexible weekend hours.
