You’ll proactively engage customers, recommend products with confidence, and create a premium in-store experience across different beauty categories and retail environments.
You may work across 3 key sectors

Make-up
Support customers with product recommendations, shade matching and make-up advice.
Skincare
Help customers discover the right products and routines based on their needs and concerns.

Deliver tailored fragrance recommendations and help customers find the right scent for themselves or as a gift.

Key responsibilities

  • Proactively approach and engage customers in store
  • Deliver personalised consultations across beauty, skincare and fragrance
  • Recommend products confidently and drive sales
  • Provide exceptional customer service at all times
  • Maintain strong product knowledge across assigned brands
  • Represent each brand to a high professional standard
  • Support launches, events and busy trading periods
  • Adapt quickly to different stores, teams and brand environments

What we’re looking for

  • Previous experience in beauty, skincare, fragrance or make-up sales
  • Confidence in customer interaction and selling
  • A professional, friendly and customer-first approach
  • Strong communication skills and personal presentation
  • Passion for beauty and luxury retail
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Reliable, flexible and punctual
  • Availability for weekday, evening and weekend bookings

What we offer

Flexible work that fits around your schedule

  • Competitive hourly pay of £15–£17 per hour
  • Paid training
  • Opportunities to work with premium beauty brands
  • Experience across some of Edinburgh's best retail environments
  • Ongoing opportunities to build your beauty retail experience
