Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Makeup Artist and/or Beautician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional skills in makeup application and beauty therapy have a strong understanding of customer service and retail. As a Makeup Artist and/or beautician, you will be responsible for enhancing the natural beauty of our clients, ensuring they feel confident and satisfied with their appearance. This role requires excellent communication skills in English and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional makeup application services for clients, tailored to their individual needs and preferences.
  • Provide beauty therapy services
  • Consult with clients to understand their desired look and offer expert advice on makeup/ beauty styles and products.
  • Maintain an organised workspace, ensuring all tools and products are clean and well-maintained.
  • Stay updated on the latest makeup and beauty techniques, and products to provide clients with current options.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive experience for every client.
  • Assist in promoting makeup, beauty services and products to increase client engagement and satisfaction.
  • Strong social media skills on Tiktok and Instagram - know how to create engaging content and reels
  • Collaborate with other team members to create a harmonious working environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Makeup Artist, and beauty therapist or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong skills in makeup application and beauty therapy for various occasions (e.g., weddings, photoshoots, events).
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • A solid understanding of customer service principles and practices.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
  • A passion for beauty and cosmetics, with an eagerness to learn new techniques and trends.
  • Certification or relevant training in makeup artistry, beauty therapy is an advantage but not essential.
  • Experience within retail and more specifically beauty retail is an advantage but not essential.

If you have beauty qualifications within nails, brows, lashes, hairstyling, facials and are open to training as a makeup artist, we would also consider your application for the role.

Pay: From £13.00 per hour
