Job Overview:

We are looking for friendly and reliable team members to join our coffee shop! As a Head Barista, you will be responsible for making coffee, smoothies, juices, baking sweet and savoury items, and ensuring smooth daily operations, including opening and closing the shop. If you have a passion for great coffee, excellent customer service, and working in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  •     Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages
  •     Bake sweet and savoury food items
  •     Greet and assist customers with orders, providing excellent service
  •     Maintain a clean and organised workspace, including the counter, seating area, and kitchen.
  •     Handle cash and card transactions accurately
  •     Open and close the café, ensuring all equipment is properly set up in the morning and cleaned at the end of the day
  •     Monitor stock levels and restock ingredients and supplies as needed
  •     Follow food safety and hygiene regulations

Requirements:

  •     Previous experience in a coffee shop, café, or similar role is a plus, but training will be provided
  •     Ability to work early mornings and be punctual
  •     Strong multitasking skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  •     Friendly, customer-focused attitude with good communication skills
  •     Attention to detail and willingness to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
  •     Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
  • No phone use during the shift.
