Opening New Site in Basingstoke

As part of our continued growth and expansion, we are excited to be opening a brand-new site in Basingstoke

Our concept brings together Mexican street food, breakfast offerings, and indulgent churro desserts, all within a well-known supermarket location.

We are now looking for an experienced Manager to lead this new opening and play a key role in establishing the site’s success.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established and growing national brand at new store launch stage, with excellent opportunities for career progression.

While full training will be provided, you should already have proven success in a similar leadership role within a fast-paced, quick service or counter-service environment such as McDonald’s, Chopstix, Burger King, or similar.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing role in a fast-paced but fun environment. You will manage a small team (typically 2–4 team members per shift) and will be expected to lead from the front—preparing fresh Mexican food, breakfast items, and churro desserts, serving customers, and supporting your team throughout service.

To apply, please submit your CV along with a short cover letter explaining why you would be the ideal candidate to lead this exciting new site.

Working Hours:
45 hours per week, typically across 5 shifts including weekends

Salary:
£32,000 – £38,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all day-to-day operations of the site
  • Lead, train, and motivate your team to deliver outstanding customer service
  • Oversee preparation of Mexican food, breakfast menu items, and churro desserts to brand standards
  • Ensure full compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation
  • Control stock, minimise waste, and manage costs effectively
  • Handle customer feedback professionally and positively
  • Create staff rotas to ensure effective coverage at all times
  • Deliver ongoing training in food safety and service excellence

Requirements

  • Proven management experience within fast food, QSR, or hospitality
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and motivate a team
  • Knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations
  • Passion for fresh food and customer service
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends

If you’re passionate about leading from the front and want to be part of an exciting expansion and new site opening, we’d love to hear from you.
