Plumbing and Gas Tutor – Manchester

Are you a qualified plumber or gas engineer with strong all-round plumbing and heating experience, ready to move off the tools and into training?

Access Training is seeking a Plumbing and Gas Tutor based in Manchester, with nearby centres as required . The role supports adult learners retraining or upskilling for careers in the plumbing and gas industry.

Established in 2004, Access Training is one of the UK’s leading private trade training providers, delivering intensive, practical courses for adult learners across multiple UK centres. We specialise in supporting career changers and upskillers to enter the construction and building services industries with confidence and competence.

The Role

  • Deliver practical and classroom-based plumbing and gas training to adult learners
  • Support learners through hands-on training, theory sessions, and assessments
  • Create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
  • Share industry best practice and real-world experience to prepare learners for site work
  • Travel to regional centres when required

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified plumber or gas engineer with strong plumbing and heating experience
  • Relevant industry qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification industry experience
  • Confident communicator with a genuine interest in developing others
  • Previous teaching or training experience is beneficial but not essential – full training and support provided
  • Assessor Award is desirable
