About the opportunity

This is an opportunity to register your interest in future Quality Assurance Engineer roles within our growing QA and testing function. Roles of this type could support the delivery of robust, validated solutions across our client base, ensuring quality standards are met and maintained throughout the development lifecycle.

We are looking to connect talented QA specialists with opportunities across the UK, where you could contribute to meaningful projects in technology, engineering, life sciences and financial services.

Typical role overview

  • Location: UK-wide (nationwide)
  • Type: Contract · Full-time
  • Day Rate: £250–280 per day (or £350–380 per day, dependent on experience and seniority)
  • Technical Standard: ISO 9001
  • Key Focus: CI/CD, test automation, quality assurance and validation

What you would do

Typical responsibilities could include:

  • Contributing to the design and execution of comprehensive test strategies and test plans
  • Developing and maintaining automated test scripts within CI/CD pipelines
  • Performing functional, regression and exploratory testing across applications and systems
  • Identifying, documenting and prioritising defects and quality issues
  • Collaborating with development, product and operations teams to ensure quality standards are met
  • Supporting the implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001 quality management practices
  • Participating in code reviews and quality gate discussions
  • Reporting on test coverage, defect metrics and quality trends

What you could bring

Most roles of this type require the following:

Must-have

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
  • Proven experience in quality assurance, testing and validation roles
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD processes and test automation frameworks
  • Experience with ISO 9001 or comparable quality management standards
  • ISTQB Certified Tester certification (or equivalent QA qualification)
  • Solid knowledge of test planning, test case design and defect management
  • Familiarity with automated testing tools and scripting
  • Authorization to work in the United Kingdom

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in Agile or DevOps environments
  • Knowledge of performance, security or load testing
  • Exposure to multiple testing methodologies and frameworks
  • Previous experience in technology, engineering or life sciences sectors
