As an Operations & Supply Chain Manager at Aalberts hydronic flow control based in St Helens, UK, you will be responsible for leading manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, operations to deliver a safe, efficient, and scalable business. You will collaborate closely with warehouse, production, supply chain, and report to Managing Director.

Your challenge

o Lead end-to-end operations across manufacturing, warehouse, logistics.

o Drive people leadership including performance, engagement, succession planning, and capability development

o Support the Managing Director with strategy, performance insights, and operational planning

o Anticipate and manage material shortages and delivery risks

o Support sites and suppliers during critical delivery or capacity issues

o Lead manufacturing performance reviews, action plans, and lessons learned

o Drive standardisation, best practices, digitilisation and automation where applicable

o Secure on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery of materials and products to support production and customer commitments.

o Manage inbound flows from suppliers, including transport modes, lead times, and delivery reliability.

o Oversee outbound logistics to customers or downstream sites, ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

o bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, supply chain, or related discipline or equivalent

o minimum of 8–10+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or supply chain leadership

o excellent communication and collaboration skills

o proficiency in ERP systems, continuous improvement methodologies, and operational analytics

o fluent in English
