Do you have previous experience working with boats and/or Estates Maintenance?

Are you looking for a varied role with the opportunity to develop new skills?

We are recruiting for a Marina Assistant to join our team at Racecourse Marina Windsor- and this is one you don’t want to miss!

Tucked away via a short millstream, just 500 yards upstream from Boveney Lock, Racecourse Marina is ideally located for cruising one of the most beautiful stretches of the Thames. Picturesque towns and landmarks abound, including Cookham, Cliveden, Marlow, and Henley-on-Thames, all within a day trip. Sometimes we forget how lucky we are to work in such a beautiful place!

So, what will the role as Marina Assistant involve?

- Ensuring site inspections are regularly completed to keep our Marina in tip-top condition

- Carrying out remedial works where required

- Operating machinery such as our boat hoist and lifting equipment

- General estate maintenance

- Supporting in the Marina office where required

- Delivering exceptional levels of Customer service to both new and existing customers

- General onsite support where required

What experience do you need to be a Marina Assistant?

As this role is so varied, we welcome applications from a range of backgrounds, however a short list of what you will need to be successful in this role are:

- Being computer literate

- Ability to “get stuck in” and work collectively as a team

- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service

- An interest in site maintenance, and more importantly- Boats!

- A 35 hour working week. (As our Marina is open 24/7, this will include some weekend and Bank holiday working)
