Buckler's Hard Yacht Harbour is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as a Marina and Boatyard Operative Level 2 Apprentice.

Salary - £26,500

Hours - 40 per week

Located on the beautiful banks of the Beaulieu River in the heart of the New Forest, Buckler's Hard Yacht Harbour provides first-class marina, boatyard, and marine services to a wide range of leisure craft. This apprenticeship offers hands-on experience in a unique maritime environment while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.

As a Marina and Boatyard Operative Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced marina and boatyard professionals, learning the skills required to support the safe and efficient operation of a busy yacht harbour.

Your duties will include:

  • Assisting with the berthing and movement of vessels
  • Supporting boat lifting, launching, and storage operations
  • Maintaining marina pontoons, facilities, and equipment
  • Carrying out boatyard housekeeping and site maintenance
  • Providing excellent customer service to berth holders and visitors
  • Supporting health, safety, and environmental procedures
  • Assisting with fuel berth and marina operations
  • Learning how to operate marina and boatyard equipment safely

What You'll Learn

Throughout the apprenticeship, you will develop skills in:
