Job Summary:

The Marine Administrator provides essential support to the Marine Delivery Team, ensuring the smooth and efficient coordination of day-to-day marine operations through reliable and proactive administrative assistance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Marine Delivery Team, including Marine Project Managers, Engineers, and Supervisors
  • Assist with the coordination of marine operations
  • Prepare, process, and track purchase orders and delivery documentation related to marine works
  • Maintain accurate records of marine activities, including permits, licences, and compliance documentation
  • Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, port authorities, and internal departments to resolve queries
  • Assist with reporting on marine progress, costs, and resource allocation
  • Coordinate meetings, take minutes, and track actions for the marine team
  • Support health, safety, and environmental documentation specific to marine works


Technical Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Computer literate (Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, email) with strong administrative capability
  • Ability to work collaboratively with site-based and offshore teams


Qualifications, Certifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within construction, infrastructure, or marine environments
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Experience supporting project delivery teams is advantageous
