Full job description

We have a fantastic opportunity on board for an experienced Business Development Support Officer to join our global award-winning client located in LE19, South Leicestershire.

Working remotely (with in person monthly visits to the Leicester offices for meetings), as the Business Development Support Officer, your role is to support the delivery of their international growth plans by way of processing applications and providing administrative and operational support to the wider BD team, as well as support the development of their existing customer base via market research and account management.

Key duties & responsibilities of the Business Development Support Officer include:

·· Processing applications end to end using Salesforce CRM

· Completing due diligence checks via virtual meetings with clients

· Admin support to wider BD team, diary management, meeting preparation, booking meetings, organising reports, attending virtual meetings, taking minutes, raising action logs, updating CRM

· Gathering market intelligence, both desk research and communication with stakeholders

· Account managing an allocated portfolio of customers (with support), scheduling and conducting review meetings via MS Teams

Skills & Experience required for the Business Development Support Officer role include:

· Experience working in a support capacity within a Business Development or Account management team working for an organisation that operates internationally

· Experience of working within a fast paced or dynamic environment

· Excellent communication, verbal and written

· Excellent organisational and attention to detail skills

· Experience of producing accurate minutes or action notes

· Ability to prioritise, handle important and sensitive information, maintain confidentiality

· Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM system

· Proficient in MS Office (especially MS Excel)

· Ability to work effectively remotely, be resourceful/ autonomous

· Experience of having lived or worked overseas (desirable, not essential)

· Non-English language skills (desirable, not essential)

· Public speaking or presentation experience (desirable, not essential)

· Flexibility to travel (role may entail occasional domestic/international travel)

Package:

This is a permanent opportunity, 35 hours/week.

£28,497.60 + Excellent Benefits including 25 days holiday + BH, 10% employer pension contribution, private healthcare and cash plan, EAP, 3 x death in service, discount schemes, free parking on site
