Specialising in the Downwear industry since 1976, Bosideng have a long, proven history of providing quality down products across China as well as 72 countries worldwide. The brand is sold via our 4000 stores and a wide array of eCommerce platforms generating an annual turnover of £1.4 Billion.

Our business in the UK is under rapid growth. We launched the stunning, upgraded London Flagship Store in Mayfair London in October 2022. We have our own website and also have presence in a few selected 3rd party ECommerce platforms.

Overview of the role:

Bosideng are looking for a passionate, highly driven E-commerce and Retail Intern to join our team for a 2 month contract period initially, with a possibility of a contract or permanent position being created. We are keen to meet with individuals who possess a strong business mindset with a creative, customer focused passion that are dedicated to expanding their retail understanding.

You will receive coaching to develop the highest standards of customer service, product knowledge and the opportunity to gain a broad understanding of retail store and E-commerce operations from our experienced retail team.

We are a growing business in the UK and therefore opportunities to join the company in a permanent role and progress could be a focus in the coming months. Our E-commerce and Retail Interns will be given a very broad insight into the daily operations and therefore will be exposed to many areas of the E-commerce department.

Those that join us as Interns, will have a willingness to be developed into managerial roles within the business and enjoy being exposed to every aspect of a retail business.

We are looking to meet candidates who are passionate about E-Commerce and eager to contribute to the growth of our business in this area. Candidates with a strong individual network that can be utilized within the workplace to aid business growth would be advantageous. Experience in social media operations and skills in graphic design are highly desirable.

What you can expect to achieve:

Product Management– Training on products listing, maintenance and optimizations across different platforms.

Customer Service – Training on how to deliver the highest levels of customer service and journey.

Order Processing – Training on processing customer orders, including coordinating with the warehouse team and logistic companies.

Stock management – Training on utilizing stock management policies, procedures and systems.

Digital Marketing – Training on Email marketing and Social Media content creation planning and execution.

Data Processing and Analysis – Training and development on data processing and business report analysis.

What we expect from you:

What is essential with this internship, is high amounts of drive, ambition, passion, and the desire to learn and progress.

An entrepreneurial mindset and a creative ability will play a big part of this internship due to the nature of the business. Being able to think outside the box and having new and exciting ideas will all be very beneficial.

Preferred experience:

Retail, particularly in e-commerce and social media, including managing a business-owned website or selling through third-party platforms such as Amazon.

Retail experience combined with graphic design skills would be a strong advantage.

We are continuously identifying opportunities to further our network – so if you have a strong audience or following that you would be willing to work with, this role could be for you.

Being able to reach out confidently to audiences, including students or communities to help network and aid business growth is beneficial.

The ability to communicate in Chinese Mandarin would be advantageous.

Your hobby or experience in fashion, styling, retail, graphic design, photo shooting, social media, outdoor or sport activities will be a bonus.

Please note:
Interns will gain exposure to various areas of retail, rather than working exclusively in the e-commerce department. We therefore ask for a willingness to participate in all aspects of the business, including stock management (which may involve some manual lifting), visual merchandising support, delivery and order processing, and website maintenance. Training will be provided.
