- Good working knowledge of vehicle maintenance, inspections, servicing, and repairs
- Experience working on light commercial vehicles, vans, or HGVs
- Ability to diagnose faults and carry out repairs confidently
- Good understanding of vehicle safety and roadworthiness standards
- Ability to work independently and take pride in the quality of your work
- Strong attention to detail and good record-keeping skills
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance is preferred
- IRTEC accreditation would be advantageous, but is not essential
- IRTEC training and development will be offered to the right candidate
- Welding, fabrication, hydraulics, or electrical diagnostic experience would be beneficial

- Experience working within a fleet or transport operation
- Experience carrying out PMIs
- Experience with C-Class vehicles or vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes
- Forklift, plant, or material handling equipment maintenance experience
- Tow truck experience or qualification up to 7.5 tonnes
- Previous experience in a lead technician or single-technician workshop role
What We Offer

- Full-time, permanent position
- Opportunity to take ownership of an in-house fleet maintenance function
- Training and development, including IRTEC support where required
- Free on-site parking
- Supportive working environment
- Opportunity to play an important role in fleet safety, compliance, and operational performance
