About the Role

Holiday Inn London – Luton Airport is looking for a motivated and reliable Chef to join our kitchen team.

This is a hands-on role suited to a chef who is organised, efficient, and capable of maintaining high standards in a busy hotel environment. The successful candidate will support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring food quality, consistency, cleanliness, and excellent guest satisfaction.

We are looking for someone who can work independently, take ownership of their section, and contribute positively to a small but hardworking team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and present food to a consistently high standard.
• Ensure all dishes are produced in line with recipes, specifications, and presentation standards.
• Maintain excellent food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards at all times. Support stock control, stock rotation, and inventory management.
• Minimise food waste and assist in controlling kitchen costs.

What We're Looking For

Essential

• Previous experience working as a Chef, Chef de Partie, or similar role.
• Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Desirable

• Experience within a hotel kitchen environment.
• Food Safety Level 2 or higher.
• Experience with stock control and ordering.
