We are a brand new operating hotel that is seeking a dedicated and experienced Breakfast Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of breakfast dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation. Duties

Prepare and cook a range of breakfast buffet items in accordance with established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared safely, adhering to food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection for breakfast offerings.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and work surfaces.
Monitor stock levels and notify management of any shortages or replenishment needs.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
Follow all health and safety procedures to create a safe working environment for all staff members.
Assist with other kitchen duties as required during busy periods or special events.

Experience

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a chef within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Knowledge of culinary techniques specific to breakfast dishes is highly desirable.
Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in a commercial kitchen environment.
Previous experience working in a fast-paced kitchen, demonstrating organisational skills and attention to detail.
Experience in meal preparation, serving, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness is advantageous.
