Overview

With £250,000 being invested to create an exceptional sports-led experience, our Grandstand pubs are built for people who live and breathe live sport. Featuring huge screens, top-tier entertainment, great food and drink, and an unbeatable atmosphere, we don't just show sport, we live it. From matchdays to live music and major sporting occasions, Grandstand pubs bring local communities and fans together, creating the perfect environment for your next partnership opportunity.

Ye Olde Black Cross is the oldest pub in Bromsgrove, dating back to 1640's. Many of its unique characters have been retained with new additions built along the way. This pub is a 2 room operation and is a real community hub with a high-street location, a pool table and several darts throws. The pub also boasts a back beer garden and car park. There is a ground floor kitchen servicing the back lounge and a comfortable bar at the front of the pub. The pub also has 4 letting rooms above with a separate entrance.

Ye Olde Black Cross currently trades at an average of £5,000 per week, with 100% of the sales coming from wet trade. The Grandstand investment planned for early 2027 will see a company menu being introduced which we anticipate will increase weekly sales to in the region of £14,000 per week

We’re looking for an experienced, sports-driven Pub Partner who thrives in high-energy, wet-led environments and knows how to create standout guest experiences week in, week out. Previous food experience is essential, with experience operating branded food offers a strong advantage. You’ll be commercially focused, confident leading large teams, and passionate about using sport, atmosphere and great hospitality to drive results and make your pub the place everyone wants to be.

What’s in it for you?

  • 22% share of weekly sales (excluding VAT) plus a guaranteed annual retained sum of £25K (released weekly)
  • Low ingoing costs, deposits starting from £5,000 and £360 legal cost. (*deposits can vary dependant on business – ask us for more details*)
  • Accommodation included with most bills covered, except the council tax & TV License (*a fee may be payable for some services such as garden maintenance)
