Full job description

We’re looking to grow our kitchen team following a huge increase in sales, and this is a brilliant opportunity to join a well-established, stable and genuinely supportive kitchen environment.

This isn’t one of those kitchens with constant turnover, chaos and burnout.

We have a strong team with excellent lengths of service, a positive culture and a kitchen that takes real pride in what it delivers. Standards matter to us, our kitchen has only ever known 5* standards and we’re proud of the quality pub food we put out every single day.

Most importantly, we value work-life balance.

You will:

  • Not work more than 5 days a week
  • Not be expected to do ridiculous 12–14 hour shifts
  • Typically work shifts no longer than 8 hours (unless you genuinely want longer)
  • Be part of a management team that understands kitchens properly

Our GM is an ex-Head Chef, so understands first-hand how demanding kitchen life can be, and how important it is that people actually enjoy coming to work.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is hard-working and reliable
  • Wants to be part of a strong team
  • Isn’t afraid to get stuck in during busy services
  • Has a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Takes pride in standards and cleanliness

You don’t need years of experience. If you’ve got the right attitude, we can teach the rest.

If you want a rewarding kitchen role, a supportive team around you, proper structure, realistic hours and a business that genuinely values its kitchen team, then this could be exactly what you’re looking for.

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour

Benefits:

  • Company events
  • Discounted or free food
  • Employee discount
  • Flexible schedule
  • On-site parking

Work Location: In person
