About Us:
Biryanis and more is a fast-paced, high-quality Authentic South Indian restaurant known for our authentic, freshly prepared dishes. We pride ourselves on creating a warm atmosphere and delivering exceptional, flavourful food to our customers.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Curry, Biryani Chef and Tandoori with a minimum of 2-5 years of professional experience in an Indian kitchen to lead our curry section. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of regional Indian spices, curry bases, and traditional cooking techniques
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a wide range of authentic Hyderabadi Biryani & curries (vegetarian and non-vegetarian) from scratch.
Manage the curry section during busy service hours, ensuring high quality and consistency.
Prepare and maintain fresh curry bases, gravies, masalas, and spice blends.
Ensure all dishes meet restaurant standards for taste, temperature, and presentation.
Maintain strict food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards in compliance with UK regulations.
Manage stock levels, inventory, and reduce food wastage within the section.
Assist in menu development and introduce new, creative curry dishes.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on curry preparation techniques.
Requirements:
Minimum [2+] year’s experience as a specialized Hyderabadi Biryani & Curry Chef and Tandoor in a professional, high-volume restaurant.
Expertise in [south Indian /North Indian] cuisine and spice blending.
Strong knowledge of health and safety rules .
Ability to work well under pressure in a close-knit team.
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Must have right to work we don’t have sponsor licence. Who is on PSW and dependent or even student can apply.
