​Position: Kitchen Porter (Full-Time / Part-Time) Location: Mezbaan Indian Restaurant

Reports to: Head Chef / Duty Manager

Position: Cook (Full-Time / Part-Time) Location: Mezbaan Indian Restaurant

Reports to: Head Chef / Restaurant Manager

Cook: Key Responsibilities ​

Food Prep: Ingredient prep, marinating, chopping, batch cooking. ​

Cooking: Station management (curry/tandoor), grilling, frying, sautéing.

​Quality Control: Flavour consistency, portion control, presentation, temperature checking. ​Stock Management: Inventory monitoring, FIFO rotation, stock flagging, minimising waste. ​Hygiene & Safety: Workstation sanitation, food safety compliance, allergen awareness.

Kitchen Porter: Key Responsibilities

​Dishwashing: Pot washing, plate cleaning, cutlery polishing, machine operation.

​Deep Cleaning: Surface sanitisation, floor mopping, wall scrubbing, equipment cleaning.

​Waste Management: Bin emptying, recycling sorting, waste disposal.

​Stock Inward: Delivery unloading, heavy lifting, storage organisation.

​Kitchen Support: Basic veg prep (peeling/chopping), chef assistance.
