Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Negotiator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional negotiation skills and a strong ability to communicate effectively across various levels of the organisation. This role requires a strategic thinker who can navigate complex negotiations while fostering positive relationships with clients and stakeholders. The Senior Negotiator will play a crucial role in driving successful outcomes for the company through effective negotiation strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage high-stakes negotiations with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders to achieve favourable terms and conditions.
  • Develop and implement negotiation strategies that align with the company's objectives and goals.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation related to negotiation processes, outcomes, and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information and insights that inform negotiation tactics.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate ongoing negotiations and future opportunities.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify potential risks and opportunities in negotiations.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior negotiators, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a senior negotiation role or similar position, demonstrating a track record of successful outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple negotiations simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Multilingual capabilities are highly desirable, enabling effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficient in administrative tasks related to negotiation processes, including documentation and reporting.
  • A strategic mindset with strong analytical skills to assess situations effectively and make informed decisions.
