The role is at Volkswagen’s European Flagship Dealership in West London Brentford, a state-of-the-art facility, with a 25-ramp workshop, its own multistory car park, and an indoor used car showroom. Key responsibilities

Your key responsibilities as a Master Technician will be:

· Complete scheduled vehicle servicing in line with manufacturer guidelines

· Undertake diagnostic activities to identify causes and solutions for customer vehicle issues

· Conduct electronic visual health checks (eHVC) on all vehicles and provide a comprehensive report with expert advice and recommendations for customers

· Liaise directly with customers and service advisors, providing outstanding customer service

· Ensure vehicle servicing activities are completed in a safe and high quality manner, in line with both internal and manufacturer requirements

· Participate in ongoing training and development to ensure product and service knowledge is up to date

· Contribute to local and companywide process improvements and innovations

· Mentor and provide guidance to apprentice technicians, where applicable

· To assess tool and equipment requirements and communicate any related issues

· To make written and verbal reports on service and repair activity to the workshop controller in order to obtain authorisation

· To assist with development and training of other technicians

· To attend meetings and training programmes as required

· To perform other duties in support of other team members as required

About You

As a Master Technician, you will ideally have the following skills and attributes:

· You will be a Level 3 qualified vehicle technician ideally with VAG group background

· To be considered for Sponsorship, you must hold a VAG Master Technician Accreditation

· Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail

· A strong customer service focus with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience

· Outstanding organisation and time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines
